National Calibration Laboratory for the Certification of the Reliability of Atmospheric Pollution Measurements, MEECC, 2012-2015

The project includes:

i. i. The certification of the laboratory of the Direction of Atmospheric Pollution and Noise Control of the MEECC according to the certification standard EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 for the certification of the calibration system of air pollutants, particulates and gas bottles used for the analysers calibration.

ii. ii. The design and development of a quality assurance and quality control system of the measurements carried out by the National Network of Atmospheric Pollution Monitoring and Control.

iiiiii. The supply and installation of the equipment required for atmospheric pollution measurements.

iv. iv. The supply of a system for the control and stabilisation of environmental conditions in the laboratory.

v. v. The supply of a transfer ozone calibration standard (2nd degree).

vi. vi. The supply of supportive actions, chemical trials for the filters analysis and the specification of their chemical composition in terms of metals and ions
