Environmental Policy and Strategic Plans

For the development and implementation of an effective environmental policy and the planning of a rational strategy for the environment, the scientific evaluation and efficiency of alternative environmental measures and policies should be a prerequisite. In the past, many measures were applied without the proper scientific support, and hence they did not provide the expected results. In this framework, projects concerning the description and assessment of the current conditions along with the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the impacts and benefits of the proposed measures and policies are required. AXON, since its foundation, has implemented numerous similar projects and has considerable experience in these issues.
